High Point Swim Coaches
Aaron Reeves-Head Coach

Aaron is a 2005 graduate of
High Point University with a Masters of Science in Sports Studies
from High Point University and a 1990 graduate of Grand Valley
State
University
in Allendale, Michigan. He has a Bachelors degree in
Physical Education with an emphasis in Aquatics and Coaching. Aaron has
been coaching swimming since the summer of 1985. This is the third Age
Group team that he has had the opportunity to lead. While attending Grand Valley
State
University, Aaron served as the Head coach
for the South East YMCA of Grand Rapids Michigan (now known as the
RAYS). The second opportunity to serve as Head coach was with the
Livonia Family YMCA while also serving the YMCA as the
Athletic Director, overseeing the
operation of the Fitness
Center, Adult sports Leagues, and a comprehensive Tennis Center.
In 1995 Aaron moved to Columbia
South Carolina and took a position
with the Harbison Aquatic Club as the Head Age Group coach. As the team
matured and became Swim Columbia, Aaron had the opportunity to work with
Junior National, National, and
Olympic Trial qualifiers. While with Swim Columbia, the team won
two combined team titles and three women’s titles. Before attending
Grand
Valley,
Aaron attend Adrian College
in Adrian Michigan were he still holds three school records. Some
of his coaching achievements are as follows: he has worked with Sydney
2000 Gold medalist and World record
holder Courtney Sheally, Olympic Trial qualifiers, Senior and Junior
National Finalists, US Open qualifier, USAS Top-16 Finalists, YMCA
National Finalists, NCAA Finalist, Sectional qualifiers, Age
Group Region/Sectional qualifiers and Champions, and High School State
Champions in Michigan, South and North Carolina. Aaron has served at
YMCA Nationals as an on deck official during the
National Championships in 1992 and 1993. A member
of the National Eagle Scout Association he assists local scout troops with
badge work. Aaron and his family, wife Molly, daughter Hannah make their
home in High Point.
Chrissy Milkosky

Chrissy joined the High Point
Swim Club staff in 2006 as the Head Age Group Coach.
She is also our swim lesson coordinator for Polar Bear Aquatics.
Prior to her move to High Point,
she lived in Tokyo, Japan for two years where she served as the
Aquatics Director and Head Swim Coach for the
American
School in Japan.
In Japan, she lead her teams to success as
League Champions. Chrissy swam competitively for Jim Wood at Berkeley
Aquatic Club in New Jersey and continued to swim at the collegiate level
at Williams College, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology in 2004.
At Williams she earned numerous NCAA
All-American honors in swimming and rowing.
